About Us
Aaniin! We are three first year students in the Aboriginal Community and Social Development program at Georgian College. We are currently taking classes in order to learn some of the Ojibwe language and created this website in order to add to the online resources which are available to help teach people about Anishnaabe (Ojibwe Peoples) langauge and their culture. We were instructed to create this website as part of a class project and we really enjoyed doing it and thought we would provide many different ways to learn a little Ojibwe on our site! We would all like to say Miigwech for your help and encourage you to contact us if you have any questions, comments or constructive criticism!

My goal after the completion of the program is to continue to give back to the community. Currently some of my volunteer work is going into different schools and teaching the history of lacrosse and the skills they need to play the game. I also go into local retirement residences and share with them some of our traditional stories. I hope to help my community grow and thrive for the future. |
